Red Clover sends roots far into the ground. This enables it to fix an abundance of nitrogen for itself and for other plants as well. It contains large amounts of the trace minerals and it is a herb that is usually taken over a long period of time.

Red Clover (Trifolium pratense)It was extensively used by Hippocrates and physicians of the Ancient World.
Red Clover is a primary blood purifying herb, rich in minerals and is effective for many chronic and degenerative diseases. It is used as a specific in cancer and rheumatoid arthritis formulas; in the treatment of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions such as childhood eczema; as part of a formula for bronchitis relief and as an effective relaxing nervine.
Other uses for Red Clover include as an antispasmodic for whooping cough and inflamed lungs; an external wash for boils, bites, stings, sores and acne; for increased lactation in nursing mothers; soothing for ulcers; female tonic; effective against many bacteria and relieves bladder complaints including cystitis.
Dosage

Capsules: 3 daily.
Tea: 1-3 teaspoons to 1 cup of boiling water. Infuse for 10-15 minutes and drink 3 times daily.
Tincture: 2-6 ml, three times a day.
Combinations: For skin problems, Red Clover combines well with Yellow Dock and Nettles.
Red Clover is included in Cleansing Tea and Healthy Foundations Tea.
It is also available in Tincture form at all the markets
