Your blood is your river of life. The health of your blood is critical. It is the chief neutralizing agent for bacteria and toxic wastes. Many diseases are the result of blood toxins. The three blood cleansing systems are the liver, the kidneys and the lymph glands. To stay healthy, we need to keep these cleansing systems in good working order.

Burdock Root is an important anti-inflammatory herb. It is useful as part of a wider treatment for rheumatic complaints, especially where they are associated with psoriasis. It may be used for arthritis, gout and rheumatism to excrete uric acids.

As an alterative or adaptogen herb, Burdock Root will restore body functions and vitality by correcting and improving blood composition. It supports and stimulates the liver, gall bladder and spleen and is used to also stimulate and cleanse the lymphatic system.

As a bitter, it will stimulate and tone the digestive system to produce healthful counteractive juices and secretions, such as bile.

As a diuretic, Burdock Root stimulates kidney and bladder activity thereby increasing the flow of urine.

Burdock Root is also a laxative and is considered a hypoglycemic herb; an herb with the ability to lower blood sugar levels.

As a diaphoretic, it will induce increased perspiration, a process of internal cleansing. Toxic wastes are eliminated via the pores of the skin thus assisting kidney function.

In general, Burdock Root will move the body to a state of health, removing such indicators of systemic imbalance as skin problems and dandruff.

Dandelion Root & Leaf
Dandelion is a great herb for building the blood and is useful for treating anemia because it contains many nutrients. It promotes circulation, strengthens the arteries, restores gastric juices after severe vomiting, reduces cholesterol levels, and is very effective for weight loss.

Dandelion Root has the ability to cleanse obstructions and stimulate the liver to detoxify poisons. It increases the flow of bile, which is beneficial for liver disorders, hepatitis, bile duct inflammation, gallstones, jaundice and the bile duct. It can help with arthritis, as it stimulates uric acid elimination from the body and is useful to heal connective tissue and stop degeneration. It helps nourish and cleanse the blood, liver and spleen. Due to its great ability to correct splenic and pancreatic disorders, it is used as an ingredient of diabetic and anemia prescriptions.

Nettle Leaf
Nettle Leaf is a widely applicable astringent, alkalizing, high chlorophyll, blood purifying, diuretic herb. It is a mineral rich tonic, is thyroid balancing combating fatigue, is anti-arthritic, is useful in the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery and for inflammatory skin conditions.

Nettles is a specific in bladder infection formulas, including cystitis and kidney infection. It also inhibits prostate activity and is helpful in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Plantain Leaf
Plantain has valuable healing properties. It acts as a gentle expectorant whilst soothing inflamed and sore membranes, making it ideal for coughs and mild bronchitis. Its astringency aids in diarrhea, hemorrhoids and also in cystitis where there is bleeding.

Plantain may be used for chronic blood disorders, shingles, neuralgic remedy, diabetes, fever, kidney and bladder disorders, irritable bowel, diverticulitis, ulcers, internal/external bleeding – excess menstrual loss, hyper acidity, bronchitis, bruises, skin eruptions and disorders, wounds that refuse to heal and cystitis with blood.

Red Clover Blossom
Red Clover is one of the most useful remedies for skin problems and conditions. Its expectorant and anti-spasmodic actions make it useful for the treatment of coughs, bronchitis and especially whooping cough.

Red Clover is a primary blood purifying herb, rich in minerals, effective for many chronic and degenerative diseases and is a specific in rheumatoid arthritis formulas.

Red Clover is a mild stimulating and relaxing alterative with a long traditional reputation as a drink for cleansing the lymphatic vessels through which cancer is believed to spread. It is a reputed anti-neoplastic for reduction of tumours and hard swellings, especially of ovaries and breast. It is also beneficial for relieving night sweats during menopause.

Ginger Root
Ginger is a warming circulatory stimulant and body cleansing herb, with excellent effectiveness for cramping, indigestion, nausea, coughs, and sore throat. In feverish conditions, Ginger acts as a useful diaphoretic, promoting perspiration. As a carminative it promotes gastric secretion and is used in dyspepsia, flatulence and colic.

Licorice Root
Licorice is one of a group of plants that has a marked effect upon the endocrine system. It has a beneficial action on the treatment of adrenal gland problems. It has a wide use in bronchial problems and coughs in general. It is used in treatment of gastritis and ulcers and in the relief of abdominal colic.

Licorice is a wide ranging, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-spasmodic, anti-bacterial herb and is extremely valuable for blood cleansing and for nerve, endocrine and hormone support. It is very important for balancing woman’s hormones during menopause.

Other important functions include effectiveness as a blood sugar regulator, healing for gastro-intestinal conditions and as an adrenal nutrient.

Licorice is used as a specific for blood cleansing and as a detoxification tonic. It is useful for speed healing of mucous membranes.

Fennel Seeds
